WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ENGAGING A DUKERS.  Guayaquil is a city full of friends who are waiting for your decision to visit Ecuador in South America. First of all, to petition a DUKERS you should have the hotel where you will be, confirmed; your code of reservation should be sent when filling out the form HERE! You should join our Social page FRIENDS - DUKERS Here. - You have a home phone; use your country's prefix, our NGO will confirm though a phone call, and will give the information on the DUKERS Member assigned to you, three days prior to you, leaving your country.
- You should stay at least 2 days in the city of Guayaquil.
- The outing around the city will have a max of 2 DUKERS and up to 6 visitors, including children.
- You should petition a DUKERS at least a month prior to your arrival to the city; as you'd understand, it's on a volunteer's time and we have to look for availability.
- Our activities will be preferable, on foot; and with our public transportation. In case other type of transportation is required, you will be absorbing the cost.
- You'd understand we are not Professional Tourists Guides, we are volunteer Host and Hostesses of our City.
- Do not offer tips to DUKERS, before, during nor after the walks; we will not accept voluntary donatios to DUKERS FOUNDATION.
- There is not a established schedule, the walks will be done according to the need and requirements of the traveller.
- Sending your petition of a DUKERS, does not guarantee the disponibility of a volunteer.
- DUKERS only take their walks within the City of Guayaquil, In case you'd want to see other places outside the City of Guayaquil, or any other City, we will refer you to a Professional Guide.
- You should consider a souvenir for our NGO from your Country or City; i.e. Artcrafts, something representative of your City, etc that will be presented to our Representative.
- Help us with a brief story about your experience with DUKERS in our city, including pictures.
