Is a program with two presenters men and women in various segments exposed to images and reports, various situations of tourists visiting Guayaquil, experience in the company of Dukers.

Dukers, Your friend in Guayaquil, is a program for television, with particular focus on the cultural tourist, the visitor experiences in the company of Dukers volunteers, visits to remote places of the city, which shows the another reality of this hidden Guayaquil, where the drivers will make us live the adventure and experience everything it means to be a backpacker tourists, who do not have to pay a guide, or by chance come to our city, and dare to discover , and show how good we can be host to the world.

The Association Dukers in Guayaquil has around 800 volunteers.

Traveling the world known as Dukers (hosts) will visit the city for the First International Meeting of Friends World Traveler. The event will take place from July 20 to 18, in Plaza Colón (Las Peñas neighborhood andalusia diagonal).
 
The grouping Dukers in Guayaquil, has about 800 members, but 40 of them are volunteers who collaborate permanently with travelers arriving from abroad to visit and learn about the tourist city of Buenos Aires.
 
Douglas Reyes, executive chairman of the group Dukers said that Guayaquil is the second largest city in South America to implement this system from friends traveling in a network of 45 cities worldwide.

Dukers Foundation, which runs the program in the city Friends, launched a promotional campaign abroad under the auspices of the Municipality of Guayaquil. We therefore organized the first international meeting of the Friends World Traveler, where 40 volunteer officers will meet with some 350 aspiring dukers in April.

What was the best and the worst?
Douglas Reyes, president of the foundation Dukers analyzed the best and the worst of the edicipón yesterday.
 
I sympathized much the portrait of yesterday. He was so interesting the lives of two characters that nobody knows, but may be an example for many. It's good to give space to those anonymous beings struggling despite its limitations.
 
I did not like the topic of the day on student violence. It is important that the media show the bad things that happen, but I think it should have been given a contrast to the note with something good that it makes some educational institutions.

Miriam Hernadez receive recognition for the Foundation Dukers.

Chilean singer Miriam Hernandez is in the country and came earlier Wednesday at the invitation of the Foundation Dukers, andalusia boardwalk Simón Bolívar. Increase cemetery tours

With the aim of showing historical data of the General Cemetery of Guayaquil, as well as information about its monuments, the Foundation members Dukers join a tour of the facilities of the cemetery.
 
The tour will take place next June 14, beginning at 09:30 and is aimed at the general public.
 
The explanation of the history of the site is the responsibility of the architect Parsival Castro Pita, historian, professor at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) and director of college French Republic.
 
The meeting point of the walk, whose entrance is free, is at the door No. 2 general cemetery.

Next Saturday will be held the second meeting of the Foundation Dukers that aims to show to Guayaquil as a reference for tourism in South America.
 
The event will take place at 15:00 in the auditorium of the Municipal Museum, where members of this organization appear to the public details of the entity and its members.
 
The foundation is formed by a group of people, mostly in Guayaquil, all ages, who have received training on the tourist city, its history and surroundings.

The Municipal Museum is working with an annual budget that averages $ 800 mil. These resources are allocated by the Town.
 
About 12,000 pieces are part of the patrimony of the Museo Municipal de Guayaquil.
 
If people are not going to the museum, the museum goes to the people. Melvin Hoyos, director of Culture and Civic Promotion of the Municipality of Guayaquil, is clearly not easy to draw visitors to museums in the city and engage in historical knowledge of these.
 
With this perception, Hoyos devised in 2000 at the Museum in the city of Guayaquil Municipal Museum, which today is a hundred years of existence. The plan includes various activities to transfer the wealth of archaeological and artistic institution campuses, businesses, shopping centers and other sites.
