Guayaquil´s Mayor
Guayaquil is located at the
Central Area of the Coast, and in front of the Guayas river.
 Bordered
at the North with the province of Manabí and part of the Los
Ríos province, to the South with El Oro Province ad the Gulf
of Guayaquil; to the east with Los Ríos province,
Chimborazo, Cañar and Azuay and to the West with the Pacific
Ocean.
Guayaquil also known as the Pearl of the South Pacific
consolidated it´s Independence on October 9th, 1820, the
City was Founded three times because of three devastating
fires, settling in a definitive way at the bottom of the
Santa Ana Hill, the biggest Tourist center of the City.
At the moment the city has changed much compared with the
Guayaquil of 10 years ago, many places are ready to be
discovered while you are in the City. |
